Total Time = 1h 41m 32s
Overall Rank = 69/495
Age Group = 25-29F
Age Group Rank = 13/92
Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4 at hotel, starting drinking gatorade, grabbed bagel at wawa, drove to race site for packet pick-up.
Event warmup:

none, just walking around
Swim
  • 17m 1s
  • 984 yards
  • 01m 44s / 100 yards
Comments:

Nothing special, and alright considering I haven't been in the water a lot. Need to get to the pool to stay in good swim shape!
What would you do differently?:

Swim more!
Transition 1
  • 01m 53s
Comments:

Hated transition spot (longest possible time running with bike for both legs)
What would you do differently?:

Hope for a better spot!
Bike
  • 52m 36s
  • 14.91 miles
  • 17.01 mile/hr
Comments:

Dropped chain on the bridge on first loop and lost about 30 seconds jumping off and putting it back on. Drank too much water at the end, and not enough throughout.
What would you do differently?:

Not drop chain, focus more on drinking.
Transition 2
  • 02m 13s
Comments:

Again, LONG run with bike through transition, which stunk.
Run
  • 27m 48s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 08m 56s  min/mile
Comments:

Cramped up in the beginning both in my legs and a side stitch. Shouldn't have drank all that water at the end of the bike, as I think that's the cause of the stitch. Gotta do more bricks to prevent leg cramps I guess. Thanks to Robin, the random stranger racer who picked me up halfway and helped push me through--i think we helped each other through the pain.
What would you do differently?:

push harder and catch the girls in my age group ahead of me.
Post race
Warm down:

drinkin water and chilling with family.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

dropped chain didn't help, and without would have placed me higher. cramps on run weren't ideal, and i need to get in the water more so that my swim doesn't get weaker.

Event comments:

Well organized race, lots of beginners, huge transition area, great ride through park.
