My mom came with me to the race, got transition set up then hung out with her before the start.

Swam around in the start up area. Heated up in the wetsuit standing in the sun waiting for the start.

Run was okay ... not nearly my best performance.
What would you do differently?:

Take in a gel near the end of the bike, I figured that at a sprint distance I could pull it off with no nutrition, probably not my best decision.
