Age Group Rank = 5/110
Event warmup:

Not my usual routine. It was pretty cold and I didn't really feel like running, so no real warmup. I just stretched out and jumped around a little bit

Comments:

Solid run, I should have warmed up and cooled down properly, but apparently not warming up and still completing a reasonable training week lead to another PR performance
What would you do differently?:

NA
Post race
Warm down:

Walking around roanoke island. A friend was running his first marathon, so after I was done, I was walking around the island doing support.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

No warm-up, and continuing with regualr training...no taper for this race.

Event comments:

I switched from the full to the 1/2 after running Duathlon worlds on 10/21. Adding the extra fall race, recovering from it, and looking ahead to IMAZ made running a full marathon this weekend a bad decision. So I switched to the 1/2. It was suggested that i go out and run this as just a "steady run," but once I was there I knew that I couldn't just run...I had to race it!
