  • Comments: A PR as far as podium placement is concerned...and not expected, coming off of MCM. So much for a "recovery race!" Its been a great year of races, several PR's and taking my competitive fitness to the next levels.

  • Comments: Well, for being my first Olympic distance race I think overall I did well. I passed a bunch of people on bike but got passed by a bunch on the run. Shows where I need more improvement. Had a great time and can't wait for more.

  • Comments: Really impressed with the caliber of the race. Transition was a bit too crowded on the racks - it would have been better to have a few more and space us a bit better though maybe had I not had a fat bitch next to me blocking me out of the swim I would not have cared - though I did pass her like she was standing still.... Looking at my training load going into this race it was as though I had been tapering for 4 weeks, but that was a product of being sick...So this was a true off season race and with that attitude it was fun.

  • Comments: Excellent Event like every year...Very well organized. All the people/staff of MultiRace and the volunteers did a great job... Excellent Expo and Post Race activities...and for some that didn't know Tropical Smoothies provided food for all the athletes... And during or part of the Event...we had the chance to listen the Rock group Hippies & Pilots performing in Live I really recommend this great Event to everybody... Additional Note: Maybe for some will be a boring comment or won't care about what I say here...but Please read this: In the last 2 weeks before and during this Event...many friends of mine...were asking me: "Why are you not racing the 1/2 Iron??? You are ready and prepared for that... I simple answer them..."Because I really want to enjoy"...I have been working very hard for Olympics Distances this year...and...I really have enjoyed a lot...and...raced a lot too...So far 10 Sprints and 5 Olympics... Also at the Race 2 Pro/Elites Triathletes/coaches told me that

  • Comments: really well run, tons of volunteers and everything went as scheduled. my only issue was they didn't have nearly enough port-ol-ets for this size of event. they should have had twice as many as were there...because of this they were really a foul environment inside...no fun at all.

  • Comments: This was our first Olympic/International race and we both had a blast. I don't think either of us were happy with our overall time but it was still alot of fun. They had a great expo, Sam got a pair of Brooks Glycerin shoes for 56 bucks, I think I paid 115 for them at PRR 3 months ago. Tons of other stuff to see and do there as well. Very nice Schwag, running hat, shirt, water bottle, and a very nice medal. Unfortunately it is all Miami Orange and Green :) I am considering doing the 1/2 next year if I feel up to it, seems like a great place to try it. The weather is perfect for November well at least coming down from Virginia it was perfect.

  • Comments: I had a problem with my tire. I used the tri bike for the first time without having gotten use to it. It has glue tires and I got a flat (broke the pin) with the glue tire and did not have the forsight to have had an extra. This is especially because I had a good swim.

  • Comments: I think this was a great race...really well organized nd the bike route ws well marked and the police men were fantastic. I tried to thank them all as I went through the intersections. I am really happy I was able to complete an OLY, especially since my training has lacked the past few months. Great ending to my first season!

  • Comments: Aside from St. A's, this was probably the most organized race I've ever been to. The specific directions on which route to take to the race was GENIUS. Folks were divided by waves so that there wouldn't be a back-up on the turnpike if we all went the same way. The post-race events were pretty lame . . . I felt sorry for the folks doing the HIM who were greeted with almost no food except bananas. They had run out of most food at the 4 hour mark. The drive home was totally miserable.

  • Comments: Loved the race. I cannot believe I WON - i could care less if there was only one other person in my AG - i won. We did not stick around for medals because we had to get home for a birthday party, and when i got home i saw that I WON. I am so happy.

  • Comments: I was thrilled with my swim and bike. I entered the race thinking that a 3 hour time would be great and I basically hit that. This race was a qualifier for the long course National Championships so the field was really strong. Had my run even been my average 10:30 split, I still would have finished BOP despite the PR on bike and the good swim. Overall, I was really pleased with the race and have a clear direction for off-season training (running!).

  • Comments: I've done mostly multirace tris, and they're a good, organized group of folks. the post race usually is average to sub, but that's not why I race, so it's not a huge deal. I thought it was a great course, and was just thankful I didn't have to do the bike!!! We beat the nearest coed relay by 11 minutes, AND the men's relay by a few minutes!! I will def. do this race again next year, just have to decide if I want to do it solo or relay again. Relay is awfully fun!
