Comments: Fourth year in a row I have done this race, but first 3 were duathlon - triathlon is much more competitive! Much prefer starting in first wave. Course was very cluttered by the time I hit the bike and run. Band and beer garden post-race. Pizza from Pizza Port. Just grabbed some free FRS and water. This is a good local race. Just wish they would have 5 splits - never have tho. Not sure they ever will.

Comments: The surf gods were very kind this year. I am greatful because I made a quik recovery from the crash. I burned nearly 1500 calories. I improved my time by approximately 7 minutes over last year.
