  • Comments: Love this race. Not sure if it will fit into my race calender next year since I will be in the middle of IM training, but if possible, I will definitely race it again next year as I have the last 4 years.

  • Comments: Hate to give it a 4 this year, but with the late start due to the issues with the kids race dropped it down to a 4. For a small local race, this really is a well put on race. Hopefully next year there will work the kinks out of the kids race so it doesn't affect the main race.

  • Comments: LOVE THIS RACE! For a small local race, it is extremely well put on. The course is awesome if you like a challenge. The post race was really good, with pizza, hotdogs, cookies, blueberry bread, fruit trays, sodas, water, juice, beer. Nice set up for the awards ceremony with bleachers under the trees overlooking the lake. Just awesome. Will definitely be back next year!

  • Comments: Did I mention that this was a small race? There were only 16 women competitors, and I think I was 7th. Which is fine with me. The other ladies in my age group were much more experienced, and I was welcomed and introduced to a bunch of people. Not a bad first race at all.

  • Comments: Great race! It's a small local race. It only had 36 people last year. This year they tripled in numbers at 108 participants. It's a very challenging course, so I think once the word gets out, it will become very popular. I'm looking forward to doing it next year. I highly recommend.

  • Comments: This is a small event but a challenging course. It would surprise some. It's close to home and a nice area.
