  • Comments: Fantastic race - atmosphere electric. Couldn't believe seeing "Crowie" and "Macca" doing warmups when I was leaving transition. Will definitely be back again next year.

  • Comments: The volunteers, locals and all the spectators made this a wonderful event & race! Loved every minute of it, even though I knew I wouldn't be performing at my best. Given what I know, and where my training is, I'd love to come back and go for 2:30, but I think this is a race that is a do-once tick off the bucket-list. Spent another week on the glorious Sunshine Coast though, including the the spectacular glasshouse mountains. Also hit Australia Zoo which was everything I'd imagined it to be. Loved it. Crikey!!!!

  • Comments: This is a fantastic event and amazingly well organised. The whole town gets involved and there's a real festival atmosphere. Definitely an event to do every year if you can get in.

  • Comments: This is a really well run event and incorporates almost a week of events. It is a trus multi-sport festival and is well worth attending. My only suggestion for the Tri would be to have timing mats on both entry and exits of Transition to register T1 & T2 times separately and not just lump them with the Bike leg. This is a great event and I plan on making it an annual event. I highly recommend it.

  • Comments: This was my GOAL race ever since I watched the coverage as a little girl. The skinny kid with the bunged leg who couldn't play sport, couldn't run... I said back then "I'd LIKE to do that race one day" Last year I said "I'm gonna do Noosa next year!" TODAY I can say I crossed off something on the bucket list! AND I LOVED IT! I wonder how many more times I can cross it off before that bucket's kicked. :) WILL DEFINITLY be back next year!

  • Comments: The Noosa tri is a massive event with thousands of competitors. This means there is a fantastic astrosphere but this year was the first time that it felt slightly overcrowded. When I crossed the line I was hot, exhausted and very relieved to have finally finished. A few silly thoughts about this being my last Noosa Tri raced through my head but I think they were the result of feeling disappointed about my run time (and also my poor overall time, nowhere near a PB). .....but as I write this report (which is now over a week late) I think back to the day and yes it was a rough and tough race but I did also have a heap of fun.

  • Comments: although I was slow and injured, it was one of the best races I have ever done, it was fun from start to finish (which when you are in pain really says alot about the race) the organisation was great, the volunteers were great and the people standing out side their houses with hoses were brilliant! Had a great time and even more importantly the after party was fantastic! Even danced with a few AFL players at the nightclub.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed the race this year as I had to work pretty hard to achieve my goal of beating last year’s time. Although it was only a few minutes it was a very rewarding race. It was also a great social event this year as I met up with quite a few buddies, some from work, some from my running group and even a real live BTer. They have already set the date for next year’s race, 4 November 2007, and as I said this time last year, I'm looking forward to it already.

  • Comments: This race is an absolutely awesome event - everyone should do it at some point. Yes, there are issues, primarily resulting from a very busy course. But it's fantastically well organised, brilliant, support, loads of spectators and a real event feel to the whole weekend.

  • Comments: Another short goal completed and another Noosa tri comes to an end. Overall I had a great time competing and to have smashed last years time by 15 minutes was just fantastic. I achieved my goal time and am well on my way to achieving a long term goal of finishing in the top half of a race for my age group. The Noosa tri is a massive event with more then 2000 competitors. Everyone is there to compete and have a fun time which creates a great atmosphere. They have set the date for next year and I am already looking forward to it.
