  • Comments: By finishing 25th I was eligible for a roll down spot to the AG Worlds in China next year. Great race with the Collegate Chanpionships and the USAT Nationals and Anderson is a great community. Clemson had a home game this weekend so the whole town was hyped and made for a cool atmosphere. Throw in the Lil Rev Adventure race and Glow run and it was a cool weekend.

  • Comments: Rev3 put on a great race! The support the race had from the staff to the volunteers was fantastic. I was very happy with the race and was very happy that Rev3 puts on a great family oriented race and race venue. Would do this race again.

  • Comments: I'd give this race a 5, except that Nate and I were talking afterward about how difficult it was. Leaving the race, there were lots of people still walking to finish the course: let me repeat, this is a tough course. Nate and I both agree that for a run-of-the-mill triathlete, this is a killer, especially if it was your first Half-Iron race. The times look spectacular because of the caliber of athlete competing, but for Joe and Jane Triathlete, train for hills! It's definitely not a bad course, just challenging.

  • Comments: Rev3 Anderson is a really nicely done race. It was my first 70.3, and I was really impressed at the big-time feel, even with a fairly small field. The volunteers were numerous and friendly, the bike course was well-marked with officers directing traffic where needed, and the run was diabolical. I would do this race again (once the pain from the first time wears off), and/or volunteer for it in the future.

  • Comments: Excellent race. The run+bike are rolling, so not a fast course, but nothing too steep. And everything was very clearly marked, so no confusion to worry about. Lots of volunteers made for a great day. The split transitions at this race (T1 by the swim start, T2+finish a few miles away) made for a new set of logistics to deal with. I've done two Rev3 races (Knoxville + Anderson) and have enjoyed both.

  • Comments: Rev 3 did a great job again! Done the first races at Quazzy, knoxville, Cedar Point, and Anderson and Rev3 has done such a great job. Meeting the pros, stuff for the kids the little rev adventure race and a great staff and volunteers made this a great experience. Roads were a bit rough and the point to point course and 2 transitions was different but It wasn't a problem. Definetly will do this race again.

  • Comments: All in all, it was a pretty good race. Rev3 has a good reputation, and I think that they lived up to it. The finish line was 2nd to none (including Augusta). They had a huge finish chute. Inflatables (3 or 4) for the kids. Tethered hot-air balloon rides. It was a little like a fair. So, that was pretty cool. The finish line had good eats, too – BBQ, panera sandwiches, funnel cakes, beer (in addition to the standard water/Gatorade/muscle milk). Pretty much everything a growing boy needs after a race. Aid stations were exceptionally well stocked on the bike (Gatorade, gu, bananas, water) and run (all of the above, plus coke/pretzels/salt tabs). Rev3 managed the 2 transitions very well – it was a bit weird having T1 not be at the same place as T2, but it went pretty much flawlessly. That was the good. As mentioned earlier, the bike course was very tough. They needed to have something to wash your feet off after you got out of the lake. Also, my other recommendation to them

  • Comments: This was not my best race, by far. REV 3 puts on a great event. I just wasn't my day. I would say that this race was more difficult than my ironman. The weather and my lack of consistent training were the reasons for this. I would like to do another REV 3 event. If I do this one again, it will definitely be the Olympic distance and not the half.
