Comments: I would not do this race again. Two days before the race (Friday night for a Sunday morning race) an email went out that the bike course was being CUT from the race because the race organizers did not get the necessary permits. My strongest event is the cycling. I would have never signed up for this race if it was a biathlon from the start. Post-race food was not what was promised. The website stated turkey subs, etc. There was only oranges, bananas, Clif bars and fruit snacks. No refund was issued or offered. No reply email was even received to my inquiry. Very poorly organized and supported.

Comments: Another good event by SetUp... I like doing their races. I was a bit disappointed about the bike leg being cancelled at the last minute, but from what I understand it wasn't their fault. My only real gripe with the race was that goofy little section of the run right before the turn around. That needs to be changed or marshaled better next year. I saw several people not make the turn in just the time I was at that section of the run... I can only imagine how many people "shorted" the course overall. A fun race and a good day. I ended up missing out on the Overall podium (4th place overall) but did manage to take first place in the Masters division so I was pretty happy about that.
