  • Comments: Really cool race. Maybe a little too easy for a sprint but sure a heck of a lot of fun. Can imagine it being a great first Oly race. Everything was top notch and handled very well, very professionally. DelMoSports would appear to be a great race director who puts on a great event. Might do it again but it does seem a long way and expensive (with the hotel and meals) for a relatively short sprint.

  • Comments: I cannot rave about Del Mo Sports enough. Technically this is only my 2nd open water triathlon, but heard great things and it exceeded expectations!! Being my 2nd tri, I am more than pleased with my progress. It was a step up in size, in competition and I performed my best. I have improved more than I thought I would in such a short of time. I have aspirations of being competitive in AG Nationals and believe I can do it. I have to continue to kill on the bike. I can make up so much time there. I don't know if I'll ever get to a 5.55 type run pace for 5k, but I am sure as hell going to keep working at it. A long hard winter of swim improvement lies ahead I know it. I don't lose in the swim, but I CANNOT be that far back anymore! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE a tt style start to a tri. Why can't they ALL be that way. You run your own race that way, not chaotic bull$hit to start with in overcrowded waves

  • Comments: Delmo Sports puts on an amazing event. So organized, super helpful staff, nice spread. Tons of support in the water, tons of support on the course. Race director constantly kept updates coming before the race and getting everyone excited. I can't say enough about the group -- absolutely AMAZING!

  • Comments: Fantastic Event well run, great location. Staff and Volunteers were very good. The Seafood Festival that followed made this event even better. I was so surprised I made the PODIUM in my second Triathlon and Super Psyched!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this race for next year. DELMO Sports ran a great event, love the swag, really nice shirt with packets and finisher medals at the end. I like that they podium places 1 -5 for each division and the medals are awesome. Very nice ceremony on the stage of the Seafood Festival.

  • Comments: Great course - would do it again next year. After recovering from a herniated disc from earlier in the year, I had to prove to myself that I could compete at the sprint level. Placing second out of 25 ain't half bad. Now on to bigger and better things.

  • Comments: This was my first ever triathlon (other attempt had the bike course cut two days prior -- see my other race review) so I can only compare to events that my friends have participated in. I thought this was a wonderful event, though. It started 10-15 minutes late, but that's because the parking situation took a while. I'm very glad they delayed it rather than not allowing the other participants to compete. I was not able to get my t-shirt and water bottle because, as I said, things were rushed due to the parking delays so I didn't get it before the race. The tent was broken down by the time I finished the race. I emailed the event director to request those items and hopefully I will receive them.
