  • Comments: Delmo races are among the best. Can't say enough about it. They had some logistical issues with shuttles, but I think they are going to work them out in the future. Also the awards ceremony was about 1+ hours late -- which is tough considering how hot the sun can get. Will be back

  • Comments: Two negatives to get out of the way that aren't really things that should keep you away from this race. It started late but that was because of fog and weather so no knock on the organizers there. I would rather start late than have them cancel the swim. The other negative for me is the beach run. I hated that part but recognize that may be part of the "charm" of this event and others may like it as much as I hate it. The event was very well organized and supported. The swim was especially well supported with volunteers and at no point did I feel unsafe or uncomfortable in the water. I would definitely recommend this to other people with the warning that you should not underestimate how much the soft sand of the beach can take out of you.

  • Comments: Happy with overall performance. Swim can improve and should be better with training I have been doing. 2 in AG and 29 overall, so no complaints.

  • Comments: Another Delmo race, another awesome experience. If you haven't done a Delmo race, do one. You wont' regret it.

  • Comments: I'm usually all for Delmo Sports (always a 5/5 rating in past) but wasn't exactly happy with this race. I felt like the run course on the sand was unnecessary, and it was a much longer wait than expected for the Int'l athletes to start. The swim was also too confusing. The buoys on the course were pretty meaningless.

  • Comments: Good race. the drifting of the ferry caused the olympic distance to be delaye 1hr. Not sure how they can prevent that in the future. next time I will bring nutrition on the boat just in case.
