  • Comments: The race was well organized and run well. The swag for this race was terrible as well as the post race festivities. There were plenty of folks out on the course to guide and run the aid stations. It was a small race and they worked to treat the racers well when they were racing. For a full distance, however, it seemed anticlimactic at the finish.

  • Comments: This was my first full distance triathlon, as such I had had no idea what to expect. In the end I'm happy I went with the HITS series, I was one of 48 that raced the full and I had no chance of getting lost in the crowd. I will do another Ironman in a few years, but for now I'm going to focus on halves and Olympics.
