• Description: The West Side Duathlon made its debut in 2010 to rave reviews! The race will takes place at the Jefferson County North Area Athletic Complex, conveniently located midway between Golden and Boulder just off Highway 93, and features an amazing bike course that includes a closed lane on Highway 93, and some fun rolling, scenic rural roads on the West Side of the Denver Metro Area. The Race is contested in the traditional run-bike-run format, with two distance options to choose from: the standard 5K run, 30K bike, 5K run distance, and the shorter 2K run, 15K bike, 5K run option. Junior racers age 12 & up are encouraged to compete in the shorter distance event. This is also a great distance for beginner multisport participants.
