• Description: The annual San Diego Duathlon will take place in beautiful Mission Bay park in San Diego. You will be racing on the course where the sport of Duathlon and Triathlon started in 1974/75!
  
  The course is a "point-to-point" format with the start-line, transition, and finish-line areas all within 200 yards of each other. The course is CLOSED to car traffic.
  
  Athletes will run a one loop 1.5mi course around South Shores / Rose Starns park to Fiesta Island. At the entrance to Fiesta Island transition to their bikes and complete the 20km time trial course around Fiesta Island (3 big loops). Athletes then dismount their bikes for a final 2 loop run (2.5mi) around South Shores / Rose Starns park to the finish! The course is accurately measured and is flat and fast!
