• Description: Holly Recreation Area provides a great venue for a multisport event. The swim will take place in the clear waters of Heron Lake (located at the front of the park). Olympic athletes will complete a two loop triangular swim course. Sprint athletes will complete a single triangular swim course. The bike portion covers a hilly/paved out and back closed course. Olympic athletes will cover the out and back 4 times. Sprint and Duathlon athletes will complete the out and back course twice. The run will exit the park and traverse undulating dirt roads on an out and back course. Olympic athletes will run to the 5km turnaround point while Sprint and Duathlon athletes will run to the 2.5km turnaround. All athletes will finish at Heron Lake.
