• Description: Celebrate a day for all women — Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10 — by joining your mothers, sisters, daughters, your entire sisterhood in the inaugural Ann Arbor Goddess 5K and showing Ann Arbor how truly divine you are. You can even race with your daughter or mother in the Mother-Daughter category, or add a grandmother or granddaughter for our Three Generations category of fabulous females! Want a shorter distance in which to showcase your athletic abilities? We have a one-mile option as well. And although this is a day to celebrate women, husbands, brothers, fathers, sons, and all men are welcome to participate, as long as you do so to support our goddesses and this very vital cause. Run or walk through the city’s scenic downtown district, enjoying the camaraderie of your fellow females as you wind your way to the finish line and to yet another achievement, one that Nike, the goddess of speed, strength, and victory, would glorify. Whatever your age or ability may be, you know you can do this.
