• Description: The 12th Annual OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon will take runners and walkers on “the best tour of Columbus on two feet.” The race begins at the corner of Town St. and Front St. and takes participants north, mostly along Olentangy River Road, to the Ohio State University campus. The course cuts across the Lane Avenue bridge and past Ohio Stadium to High Street, where runners and walkers travel through the city's most unique neighborhoods, including University District, Campus Gateway, the Short North Arts District, Arena District and German Village. For the first time, the course will take runners and walkers over the Main Street Bridge, around COSI Columbus, and over the Broad Street Bridge. Runners will run along the Scioto Mile before finishing at the Columbus Commons. The Byers Xtra Mile Finish Line Party will feature the Michelob Ultra Post-Race Concert, headlined by SWAGG. Half Marathon runners and walkers will be treated to 50 bands and deejays throughout the course, which will have 8 aid stations.
