Champion  9600     Fountain Hills, AZ |  Subject: I made the Zoot Elite Triathlon Team!I applied last month for Zoot's Elite Team, which consists of 12 pro and 25 amatuer triathletes for 2008 and was picked! I am very excited, especially for all the sweet gear. I can buy a Zenith wetsuit for $130! Scott Plasma's are the bikes but I am not sure how that deal works yet but I can get Zipp wheels 20% below wholesale! Either way, looks like I will be racing in Zoot this year. Very excited! |

Coach 10487 Boston, MA | Subject: RE: I made the Zoot Elite Triathlon Team! one of my Coach's and PBM athlete Mike Caiazzo raced with them last year as a pro for the 70.3 distance and I think he will do the same this year. They have some issues with delivering some of the stuff on time (like the bike) but in general I think he had a great experience. He enjoyed the Zoot running shoes very much, anyway congrats! |

If it is anything like when I road raced the amateurs typically get to purchase bike frames and/or complete bikes at the usual "employee purchase" pricing that you would get in the industry. That means usually about 10 - 15% off wholesale. That rocks Bryan, congrats!! I'm sure your deal will be quite a bit sweeter than the Zoot - Team Gu package that I'll be getting (since that is a buy-in system and not a pure sponsorship). |
