MUL98 - 2008-06-09 8:14 AM I can't believe you guys all made it out this weekend! TERRIBLE - possibly dangerous - weather kept most of my training indoors this weekend. Kudos to each of you.

It was the worst conditions we've seen so far, but we had to HTFU!

... The day went well but my chain broke...I hate when that happens. I tried to fix it with my chain tool, but the chain was too shot.  Thanks to Phil impeccable timing, I didn't have to walk 8 miles to the parking lot.

I couldn't have planned it any better.  That was just the weirdest kizmet as I was just coming to see how much further you guys were out since Josh was staying with me, and I needed to get back home and take care of my dog, and then, SNAP, your chain went as you were going up that hill.  Glad to have been there and SAG for you.

It was great meeting you and good luck!

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me into the group. It was great to meet you and share a swim and ride with you. I won't soon forget those 3' waves in the lake and the incredible downhills on the IM course, can't wait for September.
If anyone is interested in a ride of the course on July 26 or Aug 16 keep me in mind.

Jason "from Green Bay"

P.S. Did the Green Bay Olympic Distance Tri yesterday in rain, wind, lightning and thunder. What and EPIC weekend it was indeed.

Yeah- thanks Jim- it was a lot of fun  It was great to meet vceryone too.

2 things I learned...

-Even if a porta potty says "OPEN".... if there is a bike leaning up against it- its "occupied"
-there is going to be one angry homeless man come Sept 7th

I saw homeless guy Sunday morning as I was making a mad dash to get rid of Mexican fiesta from the night before.  If that guy is tough (or drunk) enough to sleep in a port-a-jon all night I am not messing with him.
