I just made the MarkAllenOnline Elite triathlon team (Page 2)

Way to go!! What kind of swag do you get?

I went to the site and they only advertise their online program not personal coaching so I was wondering how great the initial "deal" is ($895 for the year of coaching)

OK, so here's the deal:

Coaching for the year (not from Mark himself I would guess, but that's ok)
Polar RS400 HRM
Polar CS200cad cycling computer
Asics running shoes
Custom Uniforms
Hat and visor
Socks (does it get any better)
Fuel belt "helium"
Transition towel
Discounts on Cervelo, Zipp, and Orca products (don't know how much)

All that for $895, which is not exactly free, but I'm pretty sure the coaching alone would be way more than that.

Do you think racing with all this gear will put a target on my back? I guess I better get out and train.

I don't think so. To be honest I heard markallenonline had a team but that's about it. IMO there are other teams more well known like Timex, Zoot, etc that usually have top AGers or pros. But in the end for me and many, anyone ahead of me/us has a target their back (Congrats by the way!)

Note to self....if I see someone with MarkAllenOnline gear on, push hard to get past that target!
