January 23, 2008- San Diego, CA- TriSwimCoach.com, a leading triathlon resource site and creator of the book The Complete Guide to Triathlon Swimming, has added to its resource portfolio with its release of a new DVD titled “The Essential Triathlon Swimming DVD.” The DVD demonstrates swim drills specifically aimed at improving stroke technique while saving energy. In addition, it outlines open water swimming techniques and provides detailed information on how to best prepare for the race.  
 

“The DVD was designed to demonstrate many of the drills and work-outs provided in The Complete Guide to Triathlon Swimming,” says Kevin Koskella, owner of Tri Swim Coach. “I also wanted to give people a better idea of what to expect in open-water races and help ease some of the confusion and chaos people often feel at the beginning of the race.”
 

Kevin Koskella, owner of Tri Swim Coach and 1993-1994 All American swimmer at UC Davis, developed the DVD based on his own swimming expertise and his experience coaching beginner triathletes. In addition to live swimming drills, the DVD provides open water swimming techniques, race preparation guidelines, and sample swim training workouts with detailed descriptions.
