I'm signed up for the 1/2 - this'll be my first 1/2...ever.  Plans are to enjoy a nice sightseeing tour via foot...

I am doing the half.  I ran most of the course this past weekend and will run the entire loop in about 2 weeks.  Last year, I posted a race report from my perspective and will probably do it again this year.

In for the full. I might try to be one of those guys 25 years down the road that raises his hand when they ask "who has run all 25 of these" .. or maybe not.

Ideal weather: 50 degree's run start, high of 62. Overcast, 50 percent humidity. No wind, maybe a light mist at times.

Last year was way too hot. Was not acclimated. Ran a 3:29. Not sure what I will do this year. 3:30's.. or so. Any given sunday, right?

Are you butt arse naked on your bike in your avatar???
That's funny.

I'm doing the 1/2 and am looking forward to cool weather this year hopefully. Last year was too hot for me. I withered away once we hit the freedom parkway portion of the course.....
Wonder if the organizers are going to let people put up tents or bring beer to Centenial Park afterwards..... If not, CNN center will be rocking after the race. It's going to be fun!

I'm doing the half as well.  Haven't raced an open half in moons.  Curious to see how I'll do.

I'll be doing my final long run on the course on March 8th. 21 miles. Should be good from a scouting standpoint, but I think I want to actually drive the course and take some detailed notes on each mile and point of interest, be that an uphill, or downhill.. a flat, or a long straight boring section.

I'll report back if I do this.

I trained for the full up to 18, but was sick and had to take 2 weeks off. I decided to drop down to the half to avoid injury and also enjoy myself a little more since it's just a month before St. Anthony's.

Looking forward to it!!!

Oh, and the course has changed a good bit. No more out and back on Freedom Parkway!
