For the off season, for someone like me who enjoys winter sports as well as weight training. what would one suggest for off season trainging as far as intensity. Ive never done a tri before so should I focus more on just building a base for all 3 sports? I have experience in running and mtn biking not so much in swimming. How many times a week is enough for someone like me. I currently weight train 3 days a week and snowboard 3-4 (maybe less depending on conditions) Ive been doing cycling an running (indoors) on the days i weight train but have yet to figure out where to put in the swimming which has been kind of spuradic (sp?), which I know i should be focusing on.
Should I be doing any sprints or hills?
What HR zone should I be in?
I just dont want to over do it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest anything to keep your aerobic/endurance base maintained. Heart rate zone 1 or 2.
