I saw one at the chicago bike show. it looks pretty cool. There is no metal man but you can see the course. It travels at the speed you are traveling at which is pretty cool. It would really give you a feel for the course.

I have the IM CDA and have been riding it for about a month. Although I have never been to Idaho I feel like I know the terrain well. That smiling little girl, the dude clapping in the background, heading out past the Home Depot.

Actually it is very cool. You see the course and understand the turns and see the mile markers and aid stations.

For CDA they filmed it on a motorcycle the morning of the race probably when the swim started. It is light out and 20 miles in you start seeing the other riders that are just starting the bike course in spots.

Kewl! I just ordered IMAZ as I'm not going to have the opportunity to get out there and take a look at the course before Nov.

Happy riding, even if it is on a trainer.
