Disco Tri in Denton on 7/13 ???

 Denver |  Subject: Disco Tri in Denton on 7/13 ???Just curious as to who is going to do teh Disco Tri this year in Denton on 7-13?? This will be my first Tri and I hear last years was kind of messed up due to the fact that there was no swim?? For those who have done this Tri, would you recommend this as a 1st TRi for someone?? Thanks guys! |

Champion  8540     the colony texas | Subject: RE: Disco Tri in Denton on 7/13 ??? the swim wasn't Dallas Athletes fault, we had record rainfall last year and all of the lakes were 10,15 or even 20+ ft over the norm. Unless a park had a special high water boat launch people couldnt' even go boating. I"ve only done a couple of dallas Athletes events but it seems to me that they are well run.. I have to check my schedule for that weekend but I want to do the oly this year. |

I live in Richardson and the thought of having to get up at 4 a.m. to drive 50 or 60 miles that early does not make me happy..... : ( |

Sometimes getting a room is fun if the funds will allow it...getting up at 4am is sleeping in for a lot of us on race morning.
