Subject: Bike Fit i n Calgary?

I am a newbie and would like to get a bike fit before I purchase a bike.  Are you aware of any bike fit locations here in Calgary.

 Thanks for your help.

Speedtheory up by Dalhousie in the NW is fist certified. Cyclepath probably has decent guys as well for a road bike. I found Bow cycle to be more of an eyeball it "yah that looks good" sort.

I just had mine done at Bow cycle and they were pretty good. not sure if they are fist but they have had training from Specailized on tri fits. it wasn't eye ball at all, very structured as they took angle measurements and length measurements on how to fit. I was happy with the results and only cost I think $35.

I just went to Singletrack Cycle on 14th Street and 15th Ave SW. Stu did a great job with me, and it only cost $60.

If you are looking for a much more intensive top-of-the-line bike fit, I would go to TCR Sport Labs, right beside Tri-it on Parkdale Boulevard. They are as good as you'll get in the city.

Hello All,
Although this thread has not been used in a while. I thought I would update something. Bow Cycle uses the Specialized BG Fit process. Many of our sales staff have gone through it and two, Shane Campbell and Dave Gruniger returned to Montreal this past February to get their Master Fit status. This included instruction from Dr. Andy Pruitt. While a quick look at someone before a test ride is "yeah, that looks about right", we do take care to properly fit a person on their bike before they go home with it.
Thank you,
Bob Grunewald
