Pre-race routine:

Woke-up, ate, changed, hit the road to race site. Got there early and got an end of a rack in transition. Sat around for freaking forever waiting to start

I went and swam to first bouy and back with like 15mins till start.

This was a lot colder than the quoted "80 degrees" it was supposedly when they measured it. And this was a real 800m unlike last weeks at the heatwave. I need to improve form/efficiency clearly.

Man was I hoofing it. Felt maxed out pretty well but still keeping a pace so I could keep going. Great run after a great bike... not bad.

Nice job out there! Those two hills on the bike were something! The trail run was definately differnt, but was a good race. Next year we'll have to meet up!
