OK, I've marked the 20th for a group run on the training calendar.  Anyone else up for it?  PM me if you need a map/directions to Waneka Lake...

OK I'm there. Hope the day is nice!

Also, any Colorado gear head want to bike shopping for  with me? I need to get a new bike before I do my Oly and 1/2IM. It's time to retire Shelley. But I'm still too intimidated to go by myself. I need help. (Did I just say that? ) Help me please.

I don't know 100% yet if I'll be in town that weekend, but if I am I could come.  Given my relative lack of training compared to the rest of you lately, I might not be running quite as FAR as y'all, but I can be a good cheerleader when I'm done   When it gets closer, I'll let you know if I'm coming for sure - sounds fun!

Okay, back to work....

I'd be down for a bike ride sometime too.  Anyone up for meeting at Chatfield sometime?

OMG - sorry to go totally off subject, but I'm on a conference call right now and I just tuned in and the topic of conversation at the moment is Star Trek Enterprise.  What the heck????  This is a cost estimating discussion - leave it to a bunch of engineers to bring in Start Trek somehow...

Well, Stacers, us geeks found out yesterday that they are CANCELLING Enterprise in May. Oh! The humanity!!!!

I'll tentatively plan on the 20th, if I'm in town I'll be there. A group ride sounds fun as long as you all don't mind a slowpoke on a MTB with ya!

One eyed monster? Eek!

Aren't you already on a nice road bike, Mary? I had to upgrade from my stinky old $60, garage-sale MTB (God love it). It is pretty sweet having a new bike though.

Underemployment hampers this..... AND, it is possible that I may be moving to a place where all the races are MTB, so my upgrade might be better spent on a better MTB.... I am in such flux!

Okay - I just added myself to the event in the group training calendar, and I'm up for lunch afterwords too (I never turn down good food!!).  But I'm warning you guys that if it snows, I'm bailing.  I'm just a wimp that way

So, how the heck do I get there??  I'd be coming from SW - probably head up 93 to get to Lafayette??

BUMMER! I'm going to Georgia that weekend to visit my ailing grandmother. But I totally would have been there otherwise. Bad timing, but we need to do it again.

I'll probably be there. It kind of depends on my car's health at the time (I have a clutch that isn't clutching too well anymore). If I can make, do you guys mind if I bring some friends of mine who are aspiring triathletes?

I'm fine with that, but the newest person brings the keg, right?

Well Mary, I am sad happy too!  I'm not sure if that's good or bad.  Congrats on the job/move.  Reno sounds nice....and close to Tahoe (very cool!)  I guess none of us can help you move though if we're out running

Best of luck Mary!

Well, Reno is just an approximation - we are moving to Winnemucca......... they had a tri at Pyramid Lake, once, I read.... still reading up on the schedule there. Maybe this is why I never bought a cool road bike - I may go mtb upgrade route.....

Anyway, at least it is a real job that pays for big men with bigger trucks to come and move our stuff, so y'all are off the hook.

What a cheesy way of making sure I don't crush your swim times this year!  I, too, am sadhappy - but I'm sure you'll make the best of it.  Good luck to you and D!
