Hi! coming down from Idaho again this time looking for a good bike fit. I have found 4 places on the internet

Contender Bicycles
SBR Sports
The Fit Right
Cyclesmith

Any recommendations?

I am looking for an aggressive/progressive road bike fit - I am riding a road bike with aero bars and do more road biking than triathlon - but I do use my aero bars when road biking. I just don't think I am ready for the more aggressive angles with the tri fit.

Thanks for your help!

I don't know too much about any one of those, but I do know...

1.)  Contender knows their stuff when it comes to road bikes.
2.) SBR is all the way down in Orem and obviously is more Tri oriented
3.) The Fit Right - I haven't worked with them, but I've heard good stuff about 'em
4.) CycleSmith - Don't think I've heard much about them???

So I'd say either Contender or Fit Right.

Hopefully, someone with more knowledge than I will chime in.

Thanks! I'll wait to see if I hear from anyone else. After talking to various places I'm leaning towards The Fit Right.

I would absolutely go to Mike at the fit right. I haven't had a bike fit from him (yet), but did attend a fit clinic he gave. He uses a special fit bike in addition to your own bike, sends you home with exact measurements and a printout, and will take as much time as is needed (I've heard of his fittings lasting well over an hour--sometimes more like 2 hours--or more if you get him talking. I think he just got back from doing some training with former pro cyclist Saul Raisin in Europe, and he is a triathlete. What more could you ask for? (Did I mention I'll be getting a fit from him before my next tri season?) Good luck with whatever you choose.

I had a fit done by Mike and he does a really good job. At the end he will give you a printout of all the bike measurements and angles so that if you move anything you can put it back the same way. Also if you decide to buy another bike it will ensure that you get one that fits you right.

Is Mike from Fit Right the same Mike from Canyon Bicycles? If its the same, he is the man. I know that Canyons Mike had worked with Dave Z since he was a teenager and since Dave is now related to Saul it must be the same guy.

Anywho, he did both my tri and road fit and I have never had any problem biking (i.e. back, knees, soreness, etc.) and have never had to tinker with my fit.

Both my husband and I got fit last week and we are both quite happy with Mike's work. My DH had back pain and seat issues and now comes off the bike pain free and with extra oomph in his legs. I am still tweaking my shoes because of foot numbness but because of the fit we know it is a shoe/cleat issue and not a seat/fit issue. I wish we would have done it sooner! Thanks Mike!!
