Everyone ready for the race. It may be a bumpy road on the bike if they haven't done anything to those roads.

Anyone that is not from Team Triumph please stop by our tent and say hello. We will be the partying fools after the race.

Did everyone forget about this race? I'm signed up for it.

Question: Where should I attempt to setup in transition. Close to swim in or bike out?

Two years ago I was set up close to the bike out.  Honestly it's really personal pref.  Race is sold out this year too....

I hope the water is better than the water at Vincentown? As much as I enjoyed resembling the Swamp Thing after that race....

This lake is pretty clean.  It's shallow but clean.... Should not be too bad

Like Mike said shallow and clean, so shallow that I remember last year a couple of guys ran the whole thing.  Pissed me off.

I did the Splash and Dash here in July. The lake is very shallow and yeah if you stay all the way to the right you probably could run/walk it. As it is you'll probably find the bottom a few times. The water was fairly clean though with all the rain may not be the case.

In!  I'm doing it to make up for the washed out SheRox a month ago.

I'm kind of bummed because I definitely peaked at SheRox and have lost some 'fitness' due to busyness of the summer.

Less than a week to go... I'm like a caged animal right now.  Between breaking my bike for Stone Harbor and not "really" racing since June 2008...

Should be fun. Looks like great weather too.
