I'll be staying in downtown Atlanta next week & would like to get a swim workout done, any reccomendations for a pool in the area?

If you have a rental car then Dynamo Masters Swim is not a bad place and relatively convenient to downtown.  See: http://www.dynamomasters.com/news.php

Not sure if you have every used this resource, but I have used it several times when I have had to travel and needed to get a swim in. It is pretty accurate, check it out.

The carl e. Sanders YMCA in Buckhead is close to downtown and always has lanes open for lap swim.
