Hey - do any of you guys want to do the Running of the Green 7k in downtown Denver on March 13th?  I've heard it's a fun race - beer at the finish!!  I think you can sign up on active.com.

Just what does THAT mean?

Sounds fun....I'm having the 2nd annual St Patty's Day party the day before at my house (all invited ), so I'll see how I feel.

Free beer. Cool. I'll be doing my own St. Patty's Day 5K in Co. Springs. Hope to beat my time of 51 minutes last year! Ha!

Free beer? Now THAT'S enticing! I'm definitely thinking about that one, I'll have to see as it gets closer!

yo, that sounds like my type of race - the beer and the green, nice. I might catch me a flight out to Colorado for it. Is green legal there? Peace.

I'll check with my boss (wife) and see if we have anything planned. Got any ideas on figuring who the BT folks are? I'm still new around here and wouldn't mind meeting some other locals.

Anybody else end up doing this? I talked my wife into "running the Green" at the last minute and got us signed up on Saturday. So we wake up Sunday morning and she is less than pleased to see that we've got 6 inches of snow overnight. My lovely wife then proceeds to tell me in detail about how I tricked her into signing up and calling me names under her breath. The drive to downtown Denver was completely silent. Considering I did kind of "persuade" her to do the race, I ran w/ her the whole time and we actually had a really good time despite freezing our butts off after the race. In the end, it was a great event.

My only disappointment was that we didn't get to meet any other BTers.
