Subject: Training Plans Import Question

Hi all. One new thing I definitly like is the ability to import training plans into the planned training area. Thing is, I'd like to be able to see the training plan, before I import it into my planned training (for example, I'm not sure where in a 12-week plan my current training would fall. I may want to actually start with week 5, and as such, import the plan with a start date of 5 weeks ago, kind of thing).

Also, I can see wanting to take the plan and modify it (for example, I can only swim on Monday and Wednesday). If I could see the plan, I could take it, modify it, and then import as a custom plan (I think).

Are these OK now?

If not, post the page that links TO the broken pages, not the broken link itself. That will help us track down any bad links. Thanks

I've been testing these, and they appear to be ok.

OK, stupid thing I did. I imported the 1/2IM training plan but it started me at the beginning. I'm 10 weeks into it! Can I unimport it. Plus it erased all my data so I can't see my progress from this month to last. Help. Ovetta.

ok...there are some instructions on importing the plans HERE

One thing, we will not be offering any FULL print versions of it.  Just for the sake of propagation.  these are very nice, detailed plans.

BUT, I will be (soon) putting together some more screenpics of a calendar or monthly report of at least the 'minutes' of the plan with totals.  So you can then see the time you will be doing on any given day.  It will not show individual workouts...you see those upon importing.

WHAT U CAN DO easily - especially if you want to hack it up a little to fit your schedule is to import the entire plan to a month in 2006 (as it wont interfere with 2005 numbers), look at it then copy the part of the plan into the current year where you want it to.

(careful...unless u know what your doing, certain workouts are in a certain sequence to maximize periodization)

i'm sure we have a lot to do to make this easier for you...feedback is welcome and the next thing i want to do regarding this is to have an option to import using a ending date.
