Hard as it was, I loved it.....   Donato - do you ride a P3 with a disc????

Being hard is definitely part of the wildflower experience...yeah, gotta love.

Yep, black and white P3 with 999 wheelset.  Was wearing GGTC tri top.

Donato, question  two   I saw your note on your blog re: the race clock.   Were you in Wave 2 of the M40-44?  We started at 8:55.... I came in and the race clock said 7:15 (minus :55 = 6:20....)  My results show 6:25, as if I started in the first M40-44 wave, but I figured my timing was off........  Interesting.  I am going to e-mail the timing company, see if there are any other complaints

You passed me turning right out of the park.  Sped up to catch but then ran out of breath and you were too fast

Yeah, I e-mailed them through their web form.  poweredbyfear thought the same thing too that his time was off by 5 min. so I think they screwed up our pink cap wave or something.

I've emailed them too, and mentioned you.  Cool!  I found 5 more minutes!  Looks like it was tacked onto the run time because the swim and bike look to be accurate.

Yeah cool.  I hope this does all get straigtened out.  I'm missing my bike splits/T2.  I know poweredbyfear was missing his run splits.  So they may still be straightening out a lot of stuff.  I'll be pretty happy if they take 5 minutes off my run splits (or anywhere frankly!).

Also, I hate the site/system they have for looking up results.  Easiest just to view all results at once for me rather than doing these lookups.  Anybody know if there is a way to just view all the results for the race?

In regards to the race clock being off by 5 minutes, my gf who was watching the race at the finish line said that the race officials reset the clock for the female elites (who went off 5 minutes after the male elites) hence why you're seeing the difference of 5 minutes.

It definitely burst my bubble when I found out too, as well as a friend who wanted to beat 6 hours, but found out he had 6:04:48 instead.

Yeah, someone on ST mentioned that.  Bummer!  ah well, still a PR.  Just means i don't have to go that much faster to get a PR next year.

I've been wondering...my chip time was the same as my watch time (and that jibed with my bike/T2/run splits on my Garmin), so the timing looked right to me.
