Take out Mike and I'm in for the fastest BTer ......

It will be between Bob and Dan for the fastest swim.

Between me ..... and well myself since no one will touch my bike split ......

And me and ...... well myself again on the run as no one is going to touch that either .....

Money mouth

Hmmmm...We will have to see about that bike split. I think the last Oly we did, my bike split was about the same as yours..24.5 mph...and Fred kicked both are A$$es at LP, though I did get him at Columbia last year and you were clearly undertrained for LP.

You guys are also forgetting Joel and as long as Mike races he is going to be very very fast in all 3 disciplines. One more to add is Dck4sht. He is good in all three disciplines as well and had a good 1st half last yr even with some mechanical problems.

Ok we all know this is a fast course. It also brings out some of the fasest AGers in the USA. I am starting up the thread to see whose all in.

BTW, there are several smackdowns going on in this race.

1. Fastest BTer... Bob Socks, Jeepfleeb, Docswim etc
2. Me vs. Daremo(Rick) in a battle for immortality. This is our 2nd Eagleman together and the smack talk began awhile back
3. Fastest Bike split on BT.

I won't be doing a specific training weekend for this race as it is not my 'A' race as it's too close to Lake Placid. Let me know if you are doing the race and are interested in a piece of the 'SMACKDOWN' (j/k... well sort of)

you need to include yourself in that fastest BTer conversation....and Rick too.

I'll be at Eagleman with you guys, but I certainly won't be the fastest at any of the three parts.

Don't wear a wetsuit for the swim.  Granted that will cost you a couple minutes for the swim.  But the few seconds you save in T1 may just get you the fastest T1 time.  Totally worth it.

This is my "A" race for the first half of the year.  Last year (my first year of doing tri's) I was 10lbs over my ideal race weight, I didn't follow a plan (I just wung it to be honest), and I didn't focus on my weaknesses (biking and swimming).

This year come Hell or High Water I am going to follow my plan exactly, I'm going to get to my Race Weight months in advance, and with the experience I gained from last years HIM's - I am determined to be the Dark Horse.   So put me in for the Underdog or most imrproved BT'er

If Joel is racing, then throw his name into the hat for fastest run easily.  And if Mike races, then it is an easy pic for the fastest BTer, goes without saying.  I'm talking about us mere mortals ....

But if I don't see the high side of 2:1X or low side of 2:2X on the bike followed by something on the high side of 1:2X or low side of 1:3X on the run, I'm gonna be pizzed.  And there ain't many of you young whipper snappers that can do that. Tongue out

(I can talk the talk, and in shorter races walk the walk ....... but out of all you people posting smack here I am the one with the fastest Eagleman and Columbia bike splits - other than Mike ....... so until you beat them, I'm the man!!) CoolMoney mouth

Right, so after you get your tail untucked from getting your azz whooped at Columbia, maybe you won't drop out of E-Man when I'm so far ahead of you.

Surprised

Do you need to qualify the Columbia bike split?

LOL

I don't, do you guys?  A bike split is a bike split, whether it is in a relay (with only 300 miles in training) or as a full tri.

(I was an enlistedman in the military, I learned about smack talking from the best in the business!) Yell

I'll be there for the aquavelo and won't be competing for the fastest anything ;-) Good luck to everyone looking for Kona or Clearwater...last year there were some damn fast times for the top AGers so if nothing else, it should be fun to be at the finish line for the run...

And that was with an uber-hot temps and a long swim!

Last year the swim was probably short and ideal conditions overall.

You have a range of everything at the race.
