Maybe I'm an optimist, but I can't believe that we won't hit at least the average high of 37-40 by the 15th that would allow some melting and perhaps scraping of the ice off of the roads. Of course, we ran on a sheet of ice last year too, so what do I know...Just our luck would be another ice storm the night before the race again this year

Totally agreed! I gave up on biking and walking now that everything is a big sheet of ice. Good time to get back in the pool.

I'm having a debate with myself about where/if to run.  Grrr.

New meaning to wind sprints. You have to sprint just to move when heading into some of these wind gusts

Sooooo glad we didn't have this for yesterday's Get in Gear half.  Luckily the rain stopped before I finished my indoor bike today and I got out to do a small brick run but the wind was insane....literally stopped me in my tracks by one gust.

I don't whine since I took up fat bikin'. Crappy weather....go fat. Nice and sunny...go skinny. Tomorrow, we can do both!
