Subject: RE: Shift Work and Training? I work constantly rotating shifts. I don't have any magic for you. In general, except for regular day shift, I try to go ot bed as soon as I get home (difficulty due to remaining adrenaline after an ED/flight shift ), then do some type of workout, usually home weights as soon as I get up for the day. I do that at a minimum. For workouts, I have to plan ahead for the week to be sure I get it in, instead of just hoping that it will workout. I plan ahead for meals so I don't eat crap. I try to make sure I get enough sleep, so I sacrifice other liesure activitiies (TV, reading, etc ) for sleep & exercise. |
