Comments:

This was my first race with my Garmin, and I loved it! I held back somewhat in this first run, knowing that I had a long way to go. Kept my hr under my AT and just enjoyed the morning. It was a better run than I expected. Except my leggings kept sagging on the right side - very annoying
Transition 1
  • 01m 55s
Comments:

No troubles here. My bike was very close to the bike out, so my time was good.
Bike
  • 1h 22m 58s
  • 21 miles
  • 15.19 mile/hr
Comments:

It was cold and my biking is still sub-par, so I didn't go as quickly as I might have liked, but did what I expected I was capable of.
Transition 2
  • 01m 36s
Comments:

No issues here. I took the leggings off so they wouldn't bug me in the second run like they did in the first.
Run
  • 28m 40s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 09m 13s  min/mile
Comments:

No issues here. Just ran as fast as I could without gassing out - again, kept the hr under at until the last mile when I just went. Both runs went much faster than I thought they would.
Post race
Warm down:

Walk a little, stretch a little, chat a little, grab some fluids and a banana.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My weight.

Event comments:

I'd do this one again. It was my first du and I enjoyed it! Can't imagine doing it in much colder weather though - that would just be miserable on the bike!
