Uh,

I think most peope are referring to "peeing" on the bike, not crapping.

I believe most will tell you to go ahead and stop if you gotta crap.

First, on a training ride I wouldn't pee on the bike.  I stop.  If the group doesn't want to stop (my groups usually do), then I guess I catch up or am on my own.

Second, we are talking pee here, right (hoping.....), and not #2?  #2 isn't even an option on the bike, training or racing........

Dude, if you crapped on the bike it will be a story you'll be tellin for the next 20 years! And laughing about it :-)

I crapped in my shorts last year on a long run...not on purpose though

No, she is talking about #2.  There is little doubt.... " Is there anything that you can buy/do to alleviate the nastiness of #2 (bags, bike toliet seat?)"

Sorry, I just can't stop laughing.

eta: bike toliet seat?

The more I think about this, the more I think this dude is yanking our chain.

Why would anyone eat hot tamales, chips, and a red bull during the middle of a group bike ride?  Surely this guy didn't crap his pants with 40 miles to go....

Aw, Paulette...that SUCKS.

Yeah, they were talking about peeing.  With #2 there really isn't any other option than to STOP to go.

If you ask me with #1 there really isn't any other option than to stop somewhere too...but half the board would disagree with me on that one.

As for everyone else who posted above making fun of Paulette.  STUFF IT.  Unless you want to run her next 100 miler against her.

stuff it?  like stuff it in your pants?  there must be a good joke having to do with that and the topic of this thread, but I can't come up with it.

I witnessed her eating the chips, hot tamales and Red Bull at regroup stop #2.  It is true!!  When she offered to share, my thought was "Hell no I don't want any....that would totally make me sh*t myself!" So even though I did not witness the going #2, as I was in a differnt pac after that, I know that anything is possible with Paulette!

I was on this ride. It happened.  I noticed.  I planned to never speak of it again.

Let's do that now.

Oh PJ,

You should have let me in on this secret as I was near you for most of the ride. Thankfully I was unaware.

If it helps, the second regroup where the Reds (hots and bull) were consumed was mile 40 of a 65. I'm not sure my diet was much better. I got string cheese and a snickers.
