Subject: Group Rides/ Safe Rides in Nashville this weekend

Hi everyone,

I will be in the area this weekend and was wondering if there were any longer (1-3 hour) group rides in the area on Saturday.

If not, are there any routes that are frequently used by others and safe for a person not familiar with the area to ride solo? Alternatively, I have a spiffy YMCA membership and could go to some spinning classes, (although being in such a beautiful part of the state and riding inside seems wasteful) any triathlete-oriented classes available?

There is an 80 mile, 50 mile and 25 mile ride this coming Saturday morning and the information is on the Nashville Triathlon Club website. I just joined the club, so I don't know the details - there might be some phone numbers or email addresses on the website that you can contact about the ride. I'll be doing the 25 mile ride.

Also, "Friends of Warner Park" has a 50 mile ride that morning also that is only $25. There might be a 25 miler in there too, here is the website.
