http://www.multisportcanada.com/ms/events/showEvent.cfm?showEventID... At least one of the races has already been sold out. Wondering if I will be the only BTer there (to wallow in my out of shape misery alone).

I'm doing the long course on the 7th.   Can't wait.   Heading up there this weekend to ride the course and maybe even swim!  I know of at least 3 others doing the race as well.    Hope you have a great race.

I'm in for the Saturday race! I've only ever done try-a-tri distance before, so the short sprint is just the right distance to segue into sprints

Chances are if it's an HSBC series event..I'll be there. Might be announcing, might be bike renting, might be racing (or..participating as I like to call it)..but I'll be there

I'm doing the Sunday TAT again this year. Just to see how much time I can knock off last years time. Does anyone know what the water temp is? It's sure to be chilly due to the recent weather and not looking to hot for Sunday either. With the lake being shallow we may get lucky and have it warm up a bit over the next few days.

I was going to come out and volunteer for the Saturday race but family commitments take precedence.

This lake will feel warm compared to the lake I was in last Sunday.   Rather nippy...especially on the face.   Fine once in though......doing Sunday race and sounds like threat of rain.  Darn.  I'm fine running and swimming in it but I prefer not to bike in the rain due to safety.....on well I have done it before!  Hope the forecast changes a bit...GOOD LUCK TO ALL RACERS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.  HAVE A GREAT RACE!!!

Hey Rob,

I have been swimming at Lakeside the past 2 weekends and the water is actually warm.    Very easy to swim for over 40 minutes and feel quite comfortable, with a wetsuit.   Not too many weeds yet either.   The water was quite high, flooding out a bit of the transition area.

I want to do a TAT also, this year.   Still trying for 45 minutes.   One of these days...........

Good luck on shaving those minutes off!

I'm afraid it's just the engine that could use some work!.

Are you going to be at Lakeside on Sunday?

Absolutely I know you!   We've met at a few races - a couple of times at Lakeside and Cobourg last year.   Never talked about BT though.    See you on Sunday then.
