Oh yes poor Eric who has the lowly P2 SL...he's so deprived. Besides he goes faster on his P2 SL than those guys on the P4! Who am I to deny him the joy of passing those guys up! Pro 4824 Houston | Subject: RE: OWS practice groups in Houston Anybody heading down Friday? My next tri is a pool swim at the Pearland Y, it's 50 meters and I've never been in a 50 meter pool so I thought I'd head down Friday to check it out and then maybe head to the lake after. |

There is no SKEERED in triathlon! Suck it up BUTTERCUP! Go shirtless or go home I know, I know, HTFU! When I decided to do this race I thought it was 300m. But I guess it's a natural progression right? My first was 200 yards, next one is 300m, and Bridgeland is 500m. And here I thought Summertime Blues Tri which was on my maybe list because of the 500 YARD swim. I *could* still chicken out and do the TriGirl 8/16 instead since the swim is only 300 yards but you guys would probably never let me live that down. ETA: After today the shirtless part isn't the issue Edited by KeriKadi 2009-06-16 1:21 PM |

Works for me if it works for you, I planned on swimming that day anyway. You are registered for Sugarland right? I went with Pearland (smaller field). We'll have to compare notes afterwards. Are you doing TriGirl or Bridgeland in August? |

I would probably gone with the smaller field too! I am going to stick with TriGirl for August. I made a pact with some folks from my running group that we'd all do that one together. I think that might be my last one of the season, although I have heard great things about Try Andy's Tri.... |

Cool, we'll plan on it then I was shying away from Bridgeland but then today I swam 550 without stopping pretty easily so I really don't have an excuse anymore. Yes, Tri Andy's Tri - I'm doing that one so you definitely should. Did you see the adventure race I posted about here in the Texas section??? I think Ken and I are going to do it together in October and I am kinda sorta contemplating the Houston 1/2. |
