The losers are not only to post a new avatar with their speedos (or jammers), they are supposed to change their signature. Here's the poem I propose that the men use when we emasculate them in the swimming challenge:

Beaten by the Buttercups

Couldn’t get my yardage up.

I need to spend more time in pool.

Man, the truth is women rule!

Followed by list of Team Chyck teammembers.

Just in case our worthy opponents forgot the terms. Time to pay the piper!

Mimir98 - 2005-06-01 9:21 AM Whew......I'm relieved!!!!  Great job to everyone.  Now please, someone suggest a bike challenge.

Uh, excuse me, but the bike challenge was the original. We've done it the last two months.

Uh, excuse me...i didn't see your name on team DYCKS roster, but I see you remained quite interested in the outcome!

I think I needed the swim challenge to launch me able to take on others, so for me...this could be a new beginning. Maybe I'll even break out of the self image of slow-poke non-triathlete just poking her nose in. (Did that even make any sense?)

WAY TO GO TEAM CHYCKS!!! - WOOOHOO

OK, fine, but I wasn't awake then.  Now I am and ready to ride.  Except there's so much friggin water on the road.  Please.  re-instate the bike challenge.

Great job women.

On a personal note I swam 50% further than I ever have.  Thanks to this challenge I'm fully confident that I can easily make the 1/2 IM swim in a few weeks.

Sadly, no. Not in the budget this year, for me or the library.

The Swim Challenge was great! Thanks, Joel, for being such a good sport and keeping the numbers.

Congratulations CHYCKS ! I have been away for the past few days. It's a good feeling to come back and be part of the winning team.

Well done.

The interesting thing to do would be to repeat the challenge this month, but the distance achieved last month becomes the new goal.

WAY TO GO CHYCKS! Thanks to all of you who overswam your distances to make up for my performance. I still feel like a winner since I swam so much further than I ever have . . . even with missing so many days with the plague.
