I am doing the sprint. I did the sprint there last year as my first ever tri and loved it (3rd in ag). I am betting the water is going to be a bit chillier this time! I rode a mountain bike last time with an average of 18mph so the bike course is pretty easy really.

Do it, it's a fun race.

I did the sprint in may for my first tri and it was a great little race. The run from the lake's edge to T1 seemed long and the there is one tough hill at the end of the bike. I'm going back next month to do the oly.

Good luck!

I'm doing the oly.  I did the race in March and had a bad one.  Some guy rear-ended me on the way to the race (at 5:30 in the morning!).  My back wheel also got misaligned somehow and rubbed my frame for what must have been the entire bike.  Needless to say, I had a subpar race and need to redeem myself.

As others mentioned, its well organized and pretty flat.
