What, only two other Bt-ers running in this race?  Hard to believe!

I am returning to this race after a 23 year hiatus.

i'm running it!
My husband, and my 2 nieces will run it w/ me.  It's a fun family event for the holiday!!  my husband will run his own race (he's a little more competitive), and i will stick w/ the nieces (18 y.o., & 19 y.o. college girls!).
Luckily for me their mom doesn't run, and watches my kids for me from the side lines.
afterwards we don't feel so guilty eating a big meal!

I"m running it too. Never done it before cause of weariness of huge crowds. This year taking the chance though.

I'll be there this year. Just moved to CT and this race looks fun.

Its a blast, around 10,000 runners strong. One of the oldest and best races in the country. This will be my 7th.

I'm bailing on Manchester to do Madison instead. I heard Manchester is fun though. I grew up in Madison and actually would prefer something smaller than Manchester so I can run it and not walk the first half mile with a big crowd.

My strategy.

Bust my hump up the hill.
Recover on the first downhill section for about 2 minutes.
Bust my hump to Main Street.
Kick it a little more down Main!

What about you?
