| I had no nutrition plan for the run...just figured I'd go by what my body was telling me. I ended up having gatorade, water, pretzels, oranges, and chocolate chip cookies. Although, I was bummed because I started craving the cookies around mile 15 or so, but all the aid stations were out of them. Then, I got to like mile 23 or 24 and I no longer wanted one, but they had plenty. I figured I spent the past 9 miles running to find them, so I might as well take one . No stomach issues. | |

Bronze member | My race had aid stations every mile or so and I alternated coke at one, gatorade/water at the next and I did that all the way from the very beginning of the run. I have a sensitive stomach too and it worked great. I had planned on having a Gu every 5 miles or so but after the 1st it just wsn't appetizing so i didn't have any more. Around mile 20 I started to get really hungry so I had some crackers or cookies, banana and a big chunk of some kind of a custardy cake type thing. Maybe not the smartest thing but it didn't bother my stomach so it worked out.

Silver member | Anything that looked good and didn't come in a gel pack!!! I had trained with them but after the bike I was just "ready" for something (anything) else and so I just ate and drank---water, Heed, bananas, oranges, pretzels...no stomach problems either!
