Pre-race routine:

Sipping water the last hour. Watched the early leavers for the 1/3 Marathon leave.
Event warmup:

Stretching and many bathroom breaks. Went out to the track and ran a quick 400 and a anohter 400 qat a jog and walk.

What would you do differently?:

Nothing...May have went out too fast but was able to maintain the pace and kick it in hard.
Post race
Warm down:

Drinking G2. ate some great soup and bread.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

First Race. So basically more running.

Event comments:

End of race events took to long to get going. Seem to be some confusion at the start of awards. People were eating and it was across the campus at the cafeteria and were not in the gym to accept their awards. Would make sense to have the awards where people were eating. Delay in giving out door prizes.
