Ha, I had my wristband on until we got home.  No scissors and there was no way I was going to try to rip that off of me.

I though this was a great race.  Judging by every other aspect, I will be shocked if you guys don't end up with your finishers shirts.

My wife and I had a great race! When we went to get our stuff out of transition, someone picked up my wifes wetsuit. She was #1096, so it was someone next to her number. They left a sleeveless Xterra Vortex3 and picked up her M Xterra Vortex3full sleeve. We gave the rev3 folks the sleeveless. Please drop me a line if you possibly picked it up.

Thanks!
I look forward to the race reports.

By all means, please don't get me wrong, this was an excellent race!!!!!!!!!!!  Every aspect of it was great, I just don't get how you don't have enough finisher gear for everyone, and I was far back there, but not quite last.

I'm looking forward to coming back next year, hopefully kicking some butt without being sick.

Ok, ok, I may have jumped to conclusions, no scissors, I get that.  I'm a dork who has the Girl Scout kit with her when she travels :-)

Now I know which door to knock on when needing a wristband removed!

Great job, man. Thanks again for the tickets. That saved my family some coin. I really appreciate it.

I wondered how you did on the race. You sounded awful when I spoke to you in the a.m. I'm glad to hear you were able to get through it and finish. Hopefully they get your shirt to you ASAP! Congrats!

Just thought I'd point out a post Charlie made this morning in the full thread:

Hey guys, sorry it has taken so long to get on the board to respond.

We truely do apologize for running out of the Half shirts  That is on us and I know leaves a bad taste for those that didnt get one.  We have a problem with planning!  Because we give out fully sublimated finisher shirts, we have to order them about 3 months in advance.  At the time, registrations were slow, so we only anticipated for about 650 athletes racing.  Registrations picked up ALOT in the last two weeks that we were open, and we couldnt react in time.  It's one of the down sides to not selling out a year in advance!!

Again, please accept our apologies and we promise to get these shirts out to you as soon as they are ready.

Might be a stupid question, but were there emails distributed with "finisher" certificates?

I got an email that I'll get my finisher shirt (the one they ran out of) at the end of November, but that's it.
