Yep.
I had knee pain last Sept after my HIM. Initially thought it was a torn meniscus but the MRI just showed a Bakers Cyst.

I took some time off and all is now well.

Good Luck!

Thanks!

I'm not sure if I have a Baker's cyst or not. I don't have any buldging behind my knee but it is sore at times and feels tight (only in the area behind the knee). After a HIM last Oct, a marathon in Jan and a half marathon in Feb I took pretty much all of March and April off due to the busy tax season (I'm an accountant). I've started to rebuild my running by keeping my pace in check and building by 10% per week from 10 miles/week. I started to feel some discomfort during my run today and thought I'd ask about it. I would have thought that taking two months off would have fixed the problem if it is indeed a baker's cyst. I guess the only way to know for sure it to have an MRI. It doesn't keep me from running but I wish it didn't feel like it does. I guess I'll see how the next couple of weeks go.

I've had a baker's cyst for a couple years without any underlying condition showing up on an MRI.
It doesn't really cause pain or inhibit training other than feeling tight.
