 201 |  Subject: College Station Training PartnersHowdy! Just started trying to get in shape again and lose weight, and I'm doing my first tri on July 25th in Waco... Looking for training partners in the College Station area so that I don't have to run and bike like a loner anymore lol... I'm still in the process of losing weight so I'm a bigger guy (235ish), and therefore not really fast on any of the disciplines! I would love to train with some guys who are more advanced, and get some help in the pool from anybody willing to give it... It would also be great to meet somebody in the area who is around the same stage as me so that we could start working out together and have some friendly cometition to help motivate us (I love competition!)... So if anybody in the area is interested answer this thread or message me... Whatever is fine... Look forward to hearing from you! |

Joining the team has helped me alot. I've trained for about 2 years by myself and 1 yr w/ the team. So far I've done a few sprints and olympics, 2 HIMs and am signed up for 2 IMs (KY 2010, Woodlands 2011). Feel free to message me if you want any help about training or want to join me. Also if you want more information about joining the triathlon team, let me know! |

I graduated from A&M and will be in town next week to drop my daughter off at volleyball camp. May have to do a little shopping while I'm there.  |

They said to email the president of the tri club. They should be putting in a new order at the start of the semester. |
